Forlinx Embedded Launches FET-D9360-C SoM Based on D9-Pro High-Performance Industrial Processor
At present, with the vigorous development of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, especially in the industrial field, the demand for high-performance, high-reliability and high-stability computing is increasingly urgent. In order to better cater to this trend, Forlinx Embedded and SemiDrive have jointly launched the FET-D9360-C SoM based on the D9-Pro high-performance industrial processor.
The launch of this SoM is designed to meet the demanding requirements for computing performance in the industrial sector. The excellent performance and stability of the D9-Pro processor provide powerful computing support for the SoM, while having a high degree of reliability, suitable for complex industrial application scenarios. The launch of the SoM will further promote the process of industrial intelligence and help enterprises cope with the increasingly fierce market competition.
The FET-D9360-C SoM is based on the D9-Pro high-performance processor and integrates six ARM Cortex-A55 high-performance cores and one ARM Cortex-R5 real-time core. The SoM adopts 10-layer PCB immersion gold process. The whole board is of 44 × 65mm ultra-small size. The 4 × 100Pin ultra-thin board-to-board connector is selected, with 400 pins. All the processor function pins are led out. The SoM is compatible with multiple processors of D9 series to meet your high-performance and diversified customization needs.

The platform is a highly reliable, secure, real-time, high-performance chip designed for advanced applications such as new-generation electric power intelligent devices, industrial IoT devices, industrial control devices, industrial robots, construction machinery, rail transportation and so on.
The R & D team of SemiDrive has rich experience in chip design of vehicle regulation level. D9 series are specially designed for advanced industrial applications. The products have ultra-high consistency and excellent yield. The PPM value is 5, and the official commitment is up to 15 years of life guarantee. The processor introduces 16 nm process technology, which can greatly improve chip performance while reducing power consumption.
The FET-D9360-C SoM adopts a multi-core heterogeneous chip architecture. The CPU is equipped with a high-performance Cortex-A55 core and an ARM Cortex-R5 processor with a working frequency up to 800MHz, which ensures strong real-time application processing and real-time application exclusive real-time computing domain. The dual-core lock-step ensures the last step protection of chip operation.
It supports secure boot and comes with a secure operating system, with built-in HSM supporting TRNG, AES, RSA, SHA, SM2/3/4/9. It is equipped with a large-capacity three-level cache and supports multi-interrupt parallel response execution. The chip has a built-in NPU that supports 0.4 TOPS INT8. It integrates a variety of peripheral interfaces such as PCIE 3.0, USB 3.0, Ethernet TSN, SDIO 3.0, CAN FD, Octal SPI, SPI, I2C, UART & LIN.
It supports LVDS, MIPI and DSI display interfaces, can output three display signals at the same time, supports 2560 × 1600 @ 60Hz resolution at most, and meets the diversified display requirements of single-screen handheld terminal, double-screen cash register, multi-screen advertising machine, electronic stop board, self-service machine, industrial HMI and other scenes.
In order to ensure the stable operation of the platform under high load conditions and make it suitable for various complex and harsh industrial environments, Forlinx Embedded FET-D9360-C platform is fully verified by environmental temperature test, electromagnetic compatibility test, 7X24 hours uninterrupted operation test and 10000 times of repeated power-on and power-off.
